CENTENNIAL CAMPAIGN

Centennial

“The Sinai Centennial Campaign is a special and pivotal moment for our community. The programs that emanate from this campaign represent an opportunity to preserve past traditions in a way that remains relevant for the next century and beyond. I ask for your support as we move forward, so we can create the future together by transforming our vision for Jewish Life and Learning into reality.”
~Rabbi David Wolpe

Funds raised through the Centennial Campaign will ensure that our vision for the future becomes a reality by establishing a “Fund for the Future” to support the enhancement of successful programs already in place (e.g. our schools: the Douglas Family Early Childhood Center, Sinai Akiba Academy and Sinai Temple Religious School, ATID, the Ted and Hedy Orden Family Friday Night Live, the Abner and Roslyn Goldstine Scholar-in-Residence) as well as to provide funding for expanded programming designed to elevate Jewish learning and living for all ages. To ensure that our synagogue is physically equipped to truly become Sinai: A Center for Jewish Life and Learning, and always presents a welcoming environment to our members, a portion of the Centennial funds raised was allocated for the much needed renovations of our third and fourth floors and the acquisition of the additional properties for our future needs. Furthermore, due to the support and generosity of many of you, we have been able to launch the establishment of the Sinai Temple Israel Center with its innovating programs.

But, we still have a way to go in order to meet our goals. We invite you to join those visionary families who understand the need and the importance of creating Sinai: A Center for Jewish Life and Learning and its benefits to our Jewish community. You can make a contribution to our Centennial Campaign through; cash or pledges; Planned and deferred gifts; stocks and appreciated securities.
All Centennial Campaign Donors will be recognized on the “Sinai Temple Centennial Donor Wall” based on the nine contribution levels.

To receive the Centennial Campaign Brochure or to learn more about our Centennial Campaign, please contact either Rabbi Wolpe; Tom Flesh, Past President and Campaign Chair; Abner Goldstine, Past President and Associate Campaign Chair ;or Jackie Ahdout, Development Director, at (310) 474-1518.
