Sisterhood Torah Fund The Sinai Temple Sisterhood proudly supports the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism’s annual Torah Fund campaign. Torah Fund raises money for scholarships and programming for rabbis, cantors, educators, administrators, lay-leaders and other leaders of the Jewish community, as well as for research, at the five Conservative/Masorti rabbinical schools around the world: Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles, Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, Seminario Rabinico Latino Americano in Buenos Aires, and Zacharias Frankel College in Potsdam, Germany. Cantor's Assembly
Monday, November 14, 2022 Sinai Temple is honored to host the Cantors Assembly’s 75th Diamond Anniversary convention on Monday, November 14. Our very own Aryell Cohen will be featured in a recital at 5:15 p.m. (free to the public), and the Sinai community is invited to attend the evening concert at 7:45 p.m. featuring our very own Cantor Marcus Feldman and Cantor Emeritus Joseph Gole. We will meet Carolyn Hoffman, LCSW, Director of the Sinai Temple Mental Health Center, and connect for meaningful support as we acknowledge the unique challenges faced by caregivers.
